Turbo’s RV is a family owned RV service company based in Monument, CO. We are looking for new potential employees that have an energetic, positive can-do attitude with a good work ethics and teamwork. Applicant must promote our customer service culture to fit our company’s customer satisfaction levels and skills necessary to trouble shoot and diagnose quickly and repair/replace efficiently. We are primarily a mobile repair service with a full size 3 bay shop for major projects and winter work.
RV Technician: Job responsibilities include repairing damaged or defective portions of any RV that may require service; includes plumbing, 12 volt and 110 volt electrical systems, appliances, cabinetry, general repairs, and demonstrating and dialogue with customers on the operation of recreational vehicle.
Experience and Skills- Requirements:
- Certification from college or technical school in mechanical field and 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- RVIA certification or one to two years of experience as a RV service repair technician
- Experience in transporting recreational vehicles helpful.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Basic typing skills needed
- Basic mathematical ability
- We do not service drivelines, though those skills would not be a detriment.
- Must have own tools
- Positions require valid driver’s license and good driving record
- frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, mechanical parts & fumes
- occasionally lifting up to 50-75lbs
- Must be able to pass physical and drug/alcohol screening prior to employment. We promote a drug-free work environment; ongoing testing to maintain employment.
- Must be able to pass federal background check for access to high security military bases.
· Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities.
· Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee.
- Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment.
- Monitors operation of newly installed equipment.
- Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
- Understanding and interpretation of electrical diagrams
- Plans sequence of functions necessary for repair or replacement activities.
- Must be able to customize RV equipment in accordance with work orders.
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Keep units and equipment secure from weather.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels.
Pay is tiered by qualifications and experience. Pay promotion is based on training, certifications and quality of work. Highly qualified and trusted employees will gain freedom to be a mobile technician.
Depending on qualifications and experience, pay will be discussed in interview. Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, possible weekend work.

4/28/10 - CEA Solar (www.rvsolarnow.com) will be exhibiting and conducting seminars at the upcoming Rally July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 2010 at the Expo Center. Thousands of RV enthusiasts are expected to attend and many will be interested in the purchase and installation of a solar electric system for their RV. CEA Solar will be offering solar electric 'packages' for sale. Some will be self installed by the buyer, others will require professional installation. We seek a qualified, experienced, and reliable person with great customer skills, to install these systems at a fixed price per kit that can be determined prior to show opening. Other non-package sales will be made where the installation cost will be determined by the complexity of the system. There is absolutely NO selling. The right individual will be able to provide references of prior work, examples of quality installation techniques, (photos, names, etc) and be willing to guarantee their work for one year. The installer will provide his/her own tools and vehicle. All other materials will be provided by CEA Solar. This concept has been test marketed in Quartzsite, AZ and Albuquerque with success. However it is impossible to predict how many systems we will sell or how successful we will be in Louisville. Compensation is negotiable and can be discussed prior to the beginning of the expo. This is not a W2 job. You will be paid instantly at the completion of each individual installation by the buyer the customer directly. You must carry your own insurance. We are not looking for 'panel slappers' or other types that just plow through a project as fast as they can at the expense of quality. In some cases you will be working on luxury motorcoaches worth in excess of $1M so the quality of your work is the most important thing. Resume responses are OK, but not necessary. We would rather see photos, references, examples of prior work, and the source of your experience. If you are a mobile RV repair specialist, this would be perfect for you. An RVIA certificaiton is a plus. This is legitimate work offered by a real company that pays real money.
